Kef Governorate ( ' ) is one of the twenty-four governorates of Tunisia. It is situated in north-western Tunisia, bordering Algeria. It covers an area of 4,965 km² and has a population of 243,156 (2014 census).〔 (Census 2014 (National Institute of Statistics) )〕 The capital is El Kef. Over 6,000 registered Algerian voters reside in Kef, making it the second biggest Algerian community in Tunisia after Tunis.
